Flex: 8/10

Technology: Y3D Comp - Over the past 12 years Halldor, Eiki and the team have been snowboarding exclusively with the tested and proven Triple Base Technology aka 3BT. The basic parameters of Y3D follow that of 3BT where each base is divided into 3 flat surfaces rail to rail starting from the most outward inserts towards the tip and tail. The width of the center base and the uplift angle of the side bases define the snowboards riding characteristics. Halldor and Eiki have been refining the 3D shaping to their specific freestyle needs. The Y3D competition is the closest to a traditional flat cambered board but don’t be fooled it is packed with benefits and easy of mind. The Y3D comp will give you confidence to progress onto the pro-line. It has all the support and you will need while it is also much more butter friendly than your flat board hence you will see Fridge and Halldor ride it in Knuckle Hucks etc

Shape: Directional Twin - A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle maneuvers while optimizing stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.

Outline: UnderBite - Redistributing rider weight and input power, UnderBite enhances turning ease and edge hold. By having the edge pulled in a couple of millimeters at the binding area acts like a gas pedal or a serrated knife, enhancing the cutting power of the edge. While you are turning on hard packed snow you need an insertion point to ease the edge. Then you need the edge to drive. We only have a couple inlays because once you’ve engaged your edge you are driving your turn. UnderBite allows you to have that extra leve - rage to apply power to the edge where you want to. From nose to tail you have a better edge control and a smoother drive

Bend: Camber - Camber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have an edge hold enough to drive in and out of turns, the Camber acts as a shock absorber on cars they push the wheels into the road to enhance grip. The camber does exactly that to the edge. Allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.

Core: Full Poplar - Poplar is known for its combination of lightweight and strength, providing a good balance for the core. Its lightweight nature contributes to the overall reduced weight of the snowboard.Additionally, poplar offers a consistent and predictable flex pattern, enhancing the board's responsiveness. The wood's durability ensures the core can withstand the stresses of riding while maintaining a desirable flex. Overall, poplar wood helps create snowboards that are lightweight, durable, and responsive, catering to a broad range of riders.

Fibreglass:Fridge Master Xtmr Carbon Layup - This Carbon Layup configuration powers up your nose and tail from the binding area to the tips. This setup will make for a more aggressive ride The carbon stripes go from one insert pack to the other. it creates a strong a reliable platform in between your bindings. This will allow stability at high speed and in powerful turns while leaving the tip and tail soft and playfull for butters and presses.

Base: Sintered - YES Snowboards' sintered bases are crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption, these bases are favored by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.
